McIntosh Residence

Our clients undertook a fresh face lift of this gorgeous property nestled in the leafy inner city Sydney suburb of Gordon prior to moving in. Watermelon Red were involved in the design process from the beginning, providing initial consultation on the interior colour scheme, cabinetry solutions and Stage 1 renovation implementation. Upon completion, our clients instructed us on a full furniture fit out of the property with the challenge to present a bright, fresh contemporary home that had an unique WOW factor to it whilst still maintaining it's ability to be practical and functional for the family of four that lived within it's walls.

Whitehaven

Located in the beachfront estate, Whitehaven, this four bedroom, four bathroom architecturally designed home was to act as a luxurious holiday rental and retreat for their bustling, fully grown family. A fresh palette of colours with a strong emphasis on natural fibres, textures and finishes were used throughout the hub of the home to emulate a coastal yet contemporary feel to the property.

A spectacular 3 metre long Tasmania Oak dining table, the work of a local furniture artisan, was accompanied by sophisticated upholstered dining chairs using textile designer Julie Patterson's range Cloth Fabric. Seen from every angle of the home, the Birds Nest pendants were incorporated to frame the dining area and add a three dimensional element to the space.Durable all weather outdoor furniture creates an easy transition from beach to home, lap pool to lounge. Mokum Textiles Aitutaki range of bright stripes adds classic style, yet vibrance to each of these areas.
