This home, on Brisbane's bayside, underwent a massive renovation transformation to recreate this 1980's canal front property into a sophisticated family home. Our clients were very specific in outlining their requirements for the property.

With several adult children and their partners to consider, our clients wanted the property to ooze contemporary resort style living aesthetics where they could retreat and relax whilst maintaining a practical and homely feel required to run a bustling family home. Watermelon Red was involved in all phases of this renovation beginning with colour and finishes consultation between the client, sub contractors, suppliers and their builder.

A fresh, neutral palette across all fixtures and fittings was chosen in soft sand, fresh white along with earthy tones of copper and mushroom. Large format porcelain tiles in a chalky white with a beautiful marble like movement featured were used throughout the home to create a seamless and free flowing link between the living spaces. Layered shades of blues, naturals and light oak timbers were used to create an uplifting fresh colour palette throughout the furnishings of the property.
