McIntosh Residence

Our clients undertook a fresh face lift of this gorgeous property nestled in the leafy inner city Sydney suburb of Gordon prior to moving in. Watermelon Red were involved in the design process from the beginning, providing initial consultation on the interior colour scheme, cabinetry solutions and Stage 1 renovation implementation. Upon completion, our clients instructed us on a full furniture fit out of the property with the challenge to present a bright, fresh contemporary home that had an unique WOW factor to it whilst still maintaining it's ability to be practical and functional for the family of four that lived within it's walls.

We began with a crisp colour palette of dove grey and fresh white painted floor board to give a seamless and cost effective solution to the living space flooring where several renovations had created a jigsaw puzzle effect. Bold pop colour was added with custom made artworks and graphic soft furnishings used throughout the property. Indigenous installation pieces and lighting gave texture to the space with contemporary furniture pieces by Globewest creating an uncluttered and modern home that was 100% functional and hard working for the wear and tear of a teenage family.

'What can I say? Watermelon Red is the best! Great styling, great service and great fun! We had an absolutely seamless journey from beginning to end. Our home reflects our style - colourful and relaxed. From the floors to the walls and everything in between - all looks and feels amazing. Thank you Bri.'
