PICNIC POINT

Watermelon Red was engaged to project manage this 1970's investment property our PNG based clients had owned for 10 years +. The brief was to strip and rebuild the property with a fresh coastal vibe with eye catching points of difference. We were engaged to create the design concept, consult on the colour finish and surface selections, liaise and project manage the build with Ward Builders as well as supply and install a bespoke furniture package. Capitalising on the incredible view the property has, a palette of layered blues, sea greens and chartreuse was used to seamlessly reflect the outside environment. Paired with eye catching prints and intricate textures created a refreshing, contemporary space the owners will be able to enjoy family holidays on for years to come.

'Watermelon Red worked closely with me to understand my tastes and budget. They were engaged in all aspects of the renovation from design, product and colour selection right through to completion - including overseeing the delivery and installation of all furniture, artwork and soft furnishings. Working with Watermelon Red was a delight. They were client focused, professional, practical, consultative, collaborative and outcome oriented. Furthermore, the communication and attention to detail were excellent. I am thrilled with the renovation, which came in within time and budget. Our unit has been transformed into a contemporary, modern Coast retreat. I cannot thank Watermelon Red enough for their assistance and services.'
